Thank you so much for speaking out and taking a stand. As in my world of dogs, no matter how many pets are adopted, it won’t affect the number of animals needing it. In other words, the solution is NOT to adopt more or to demonize those of us who choose a reputable preservation breeder. The solution lies in educating buyers to not support backyard breeders and puppy/cat mills. To do their research if they choose to rescue because not all rescues are made equal.
